A big storm blew in Jan 29 and 30th and left us with a bunch of snow to play in through Tuesday of this past week. The kids had fun playing in the snow again, but I am ready for warmer weather, but we are bracing for another storm tomorrow.
Here are Macy and Jarett with Jeremy--they went sledding with some neighbors on Friday. Jeremy took a long lunch and worked from home on Thurs and Friday. They are standing on the walkway that leads to our front door--notice we still use bags for their feet, should have bought snow boots.

This gigantic icicle was just outside my bedroom. This was taken on Tuesday, Feb 2--the snow really lasted a long time!

Sat., the 31st, we drove to my parents house, and dad had his truck ready to take us sledding. I think he said he did not go faster than 10-15 mph, so we were pretty safe. This was a lot of fun, but my arms were a little sore after holding the rope that long. Jarett and I rode the sled that my dad used when he was a little boy. Jeremy and Macy are ridding the one Jay and I rode as kids. They don't make them like they used to.
