Please pray for Pawpaw

Jeremy's precious 92 year old grandfather is having surgery today.  He has cancer on his tongue, and they are going to remove the cancer and part of his tongue and re-build his tongue using a graft from his wrist.  We made a special visit to Whitney, Texas last weekend to visit him before the operation.  He will likely be hospitalized in Dallas for a week after the surgery, and on a feeding tube and trach for awhile afterwards, so did not think the kids would be up for visiting him after the surgery.  Pawpaw is very special to Jeremy, and to me.  He is the man that urged Jeremy to get involved with Aggies for Christ, and that helped Jeremy build good friendships with Christian men at A&M and that strengthened his walk with God.

Cozett (Pawpaw) and Case--what a cute pair

Pawpaw with Macy and Jarett

After visiting with pawpaw on Sat, we had dinner with Papa Ott.  It was good to see everyone.  We saw Jeremy Aunt and Uncle, too, his mom and Lynn, and Justin and Emily.  Somehow, I did not get the camera out after Sat.

Last week, Macy was "reading" to Case.  She actually can read a lot of words, but does not have the patience to sit and read an entire book.  Macy would rather look at the picture and make up the story.

Feb. 7th was baby dedication at Memorial Road.  We have not placed membership, but plan to soon.  If you look closely, you can find Jeremy and I and my dad is behind us.  They asked the elders to come to the front for the prayer, as well.  This was a very nice service, and I am glad Case got to be dedicated/blessed, like Macy and Jarett.
