It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas

I got to take Macy for some special girl time the weekend before Christmas.  We went to a doll store and browsed then went to Java Daves in downtown Edmond for some Coffee and fruity drink, while we played old Maid.  We had a lot of fun.  The boys went shopping for mommy a Christmas present.

Jeremy got to take the kids out for some daddy time on Dec 21st.  The bricktown area in OKC has lots of lights on the river walk and also has a giant ice slide.  They loved going down the slide, and got to stay up till after 10:00 pm.  Needless to say they were worn out and slept in on the 22nd.  I stayed home with Case and got lots of packages wrapped.   Jarett wanted to wear his bicycle helmet the whole evening (it was not a requirement for sliding).  He never once asked to take it off!

Jarett at the top of the slide.  Jeremy had to carry two tubes up the stairs for the kids to slide down on, then walk down, get the kids, and haul the tubes back up.  They rode the slide countless times.  Macy and Jarett loved it and asked to go again--may be next year.

We were invited to the Mesa's to bake cookies for Santa.  Macy, especially had fun decorating cookies.

Here is a picture of our bedroom at the new house.

Here is the living room, looking a lot like Christmas.  It is fun to be able to start a fire with a flip of the light switch.

Here is our home about noon on Christmas Day.  The story is to follow in the next post.
