Boswell Buzz: Pumpkins, Pumpkins, Everywhere.

I took the kids to the Dallas arboretum on Sept 28th. They had a lot of fun looking at the pumpkins, playing in the storybook houses, getting their faces painted, and petting the animals. Mon and Tues in the fall and spring are Mom and me days, and are a lot of fun. We always go and park for free after picking up passes at any Dallas Rec center that still has them--we went to the Churchill Rec center.

Jarett hunted for a brush--as soon as one child put their brush down, he pounced on it. He liked brushing the goats and the sheep

Macy especially liked the horse. I don't think she stopped to pet any of the other animals.

Someday, this girl needs a horse of her own, don't you think?

I think their favorite part was picking pumpkins out of the fountain and throwing them back into the water and watching the big splash.

Yesterday, Oct 14th, we visited Owen's Spring Creek farm with several friends from church. I asked Macy what her favorite part of the farm was, and her reply was, "playing with Julia, Mason, and Colby." This was a bittersweet reply because these are the precious friends we will be leaving in just 2 short weeks.

Macy fed the goats for all of 2 minutes and decided she did not want to get muddy, so she gave her food to Jarett.
