Tea Party

Friday, I hosted a tea party for Macy and some of her friends.  We started off with tea sandwiches (PB&J or ham and cheese), strawberries, cheese puffs, cheese sticks, and tea, of course (fruity white tea, mixed with cran-grape juice).  The girls all seemed to like the tea concoction.  We ended with heart-shaped sugar cookies.  Everything was red or pink.  The girls had so much fun.  It was so much fun to watch Macy interact with her friends, and it was really sweet, that the main argument was, "who get's to sit by Macy?"  Macy loved drinking out of the tea cups, most of all.
All the girls before the food was served.

Reid was cracking up about something.
Macy did something silly and made her friends laugh.

After the tea party, we played a game.  "Find the hidden hearts."  Macy won the game, by finding 10 hearts.  After the game, each of the girls made a Valentine for their parents.  Then we had 30 minutes left, so the girls played dress-up.
Lilly came up with the most creative costumes--I loved how she mixed and matched.  Macy is wearing the dress that Natalie wore to the party, and Natalie is in one of Macy's dress-up dresses.
Here are all the girls, that came.

A special thanks to Jill and Mason (and Jonathan, who got home early from work) for hosting Jarett at their house for their own tea party.  I sent the tea party food, and the boys had their tea party at the Handy Manny table.  I think they had a lot of fun, and it made the day extra special for Macy to have a little girly time!  Jill took pictures, so you can check them out on her blog--(go to her blog link on my blog-page).
